Scoring Guide
GeoRiddle scores each answer by its population rank within that cell's valid-answer list. The most populous valid country earns 5 points; lower-population valid countries can score up to 100. Player choices and submission frequency never affect a score.

A filled board wins. Empty cells show 0 points, but they do not improve your result.

Not Player Popularity
Scores use the cell’s valid-answer population list, never player choices or submission frequency.
How a Cell Score Is Calculated
GeoRiddle sorts only that cell's valid answers from highest to lowest population. If a cell has more than one valid answer, its score is calculated as round(5 + rank / (valid answers − 1) × 95), where rank 0 is the most populous valid answer. A cell with one valid answer scores 5 points.

Finish the board before comparing totals
Empty cells show 0 because they earn no points, not because they improve a score. Fill all nine cells to win, then compare completed totals. A total of 45 is the theoretical lower bound when every cell uses a 5-point answer; because each country can only be used once, no individual board promises that total.
