GeoRiddle is a daily geography puzzle. Instead of guessing a word, you fill a 3×3 grid with countries that match both a row clue and a column clue. Each board gives you 18 guesses.
Each cell ranks its valid answers by population, not by how often players submit them. The most populous valid answer earns 5 points, while smaller valid answers can earn up to 100. Lower totals are better. A total of 45 is the theoretical lower bound, but it is not guaranteed to be available on every board.
GeoRiddle uses a curated set of country and territory entries. The categories on a board determine which entries can be valid for each cell.
The daily board changes at midnight UTC. Reload the page or return to the game after the UTC date changes to load the current daily board.
Your daily and Practice progress are saved locally in this browser. You can return to the same board on the same browser, but progress does not sync across devices because GeoRiddle has no player accounts.
Archive pages show a published puzzle's categories, valid answers, and lowest-scoring answers for each cell. These independent cell examples may repeat a country, so they are not a guaranteed playable solution. Use Practice for another playable grid; archive boards cannot be replayed.
